A calm, midwife-led Friday evening session to help you slow down, breathe, and feel steadier in your pregnancy — with a small local group and a safe, welcoming vibe.

Funded places are available for the next 4 weeks. After funding ends, sessions will be £15.

What to expect

This isn’t “performance relaxation” — it’s a gentle space to rest, learn a simple calming technique, and leave feeling more grounded.

  • Gentle breathing to settle your nervous system
  • Guided relaxation (lying down or seated — your choice)
  • Quiet, supportive atmosphere with other pregnant people
  • Time to land at the end — no rushing out the door

Comfort matters

Mats and cushions are provided, drinks and light refreshments are available, and there’s free parking on site. Bring a blanket if you like — it helps you get extra cosy.

Who runs the sessions?

These sessions are led by Nickie Witcombe, a qualified midwife and hypnobirthing practitioner. The focus is on calm, evidence-informed support — alongside your usual NHS care.
