Reflective story

Maisie’s experience after previous pregnancy loss

Maisie was trying hard to stay positive during her pregnancy, but after previously experiencing a miscarriage, she found herself becoming increasingly anxious between appointments.

Even after reassurance scans, she still felt unsettled and guilty for not being able to relax.

Sometimes reassurance is not just about hearing that everything is okay. Sometimes it is about having space to properly process fear.

Feeling mentally overloaded?

Sometimes it helps to slow everything down and gently untangle what you already know, what matters most to you, and what questions still need answering.

  • What do I know so far?
  • What would I like to happen?
  • What would need to be in place?
  • Who do I need to speak to?
